1995 E300 D Plastic injection pump lines, OM606.910

ALERT:
Running change, new parts required.....
Mercedes found that the injection pump end of the old style hose leaked air.
If line #107 in the attached picture has plastic O-ring fittings at both ends on your engine, it MUST be changed with the following parts.
There are existing threads in the current injection pump hole for the NEW Banjo bolt.

Good stuff whunter, although I believe the descriptions for #65 and #86 have been switched. #65 is actually the line from the prefilter to the lift pump, whereas #86 is actually the line from the lift pump to the fuel filter. The important part is that the item numbers are correct for these (i.e. #65 is 6060700232) - just looks like these two description got mix-up. Thanks for posting this, I am just findinig it today and it has been helpful.

Nice. One thing to add maybe the fuel shutoff valve on the filter. It can leak air sometimes. If parked up hill the filter can bleed down. Drive my friend nuts for a year until I discovered it by dropping it and looking at it close. I replaced it with a bolt. Now she parks any way she wants.
