clyinder head screws
Ok so here is the problem. My vehicle VIN is 115 110 12 108 147 and my engine number is 115.920 12 024 144 this is of course a 1972 220/8 MB. The car was purchased in Germany. The dealer says the VIN number is for a diesel, which is incorrect because the engine is gasoline. Never the less what I am writing about is I need a source for cylinder head screws. I have the original MB parts book and the parts numbers are as follows 000912 012039 I need 6 of these, 000912 010037 I need four of these and last buy not least I need for of 000912 012031. Do you know of any source for these screws other than the dealership?

Head Bolts Info Needed
I also have an 1974 240D and am in need of a complete set of head blots/screws. My engine serial number is 6160102800 then after that was an 83 in a separate space on the tag. It was dark and really hard to read so I will go check it again if this doesn't sound right. When I look up head bolts online by year and model I never get any hits. Only for the '77 and up w123 chassis and nothing for the w115. Any and all help greatly appreciated.
