Hello,

I am looking to replace my Hood Insulation pad for my 1998 SLK230 (R170), but I was advised by Pelican that the insulation pad is discontinued.

Does anyone know if the 2001-2003 SLK230 Hood Insulation Pad part will work in my 1998 SLK230?

1998 part 170-682-00-26-MBZ
2001-2003 part - 170-682-02-26-MBZ

From what I found elsewhere I think it does, but not sure if those sites are correct or not:
Replaces: 170-682-00-26, 170-682-02-26-64
