WANTED: 126 Outside Temperature Gauge in Farenheit

I'd like to get an outside temperature gauge in Farenheit to replace the Celcius one I currently have in my 1984 300SD. Anyone with one in good working condition (must have the four pin connector at the back) can e-mail me at braverichard@hotmail.com with a price. Thanks

I can't tell which is which either Jim. I know they started making the farenheit displays after a certain year that I'm not aware of (1989 maybe?). What model years are yours from?

I'm kinda looking for one also...

My 87 300SDL came with one in F.

I have not torn apart the cluster yet to verify anything like connectors or part numbers.

Half of my display is black now - but at least I have an idea within 10 degrees what the temp is.

Please just keep me in mind - Back Burner Project

Thank You

Stephen

They switched over to degrees farenheight for the inside temperature control in 1986. I have about 4 gauge cluster temperature parts for sale. Only one is in degrees farenheight though. How does 40usd shipped sound???

I thought the F or C was determined by the sender and not the display itself?

As far as I know, the unit of measurement in which the outside temperature is displayed depends entirely on the display unit not the sender.

I'd like to have the one with the farenheit display. The price sounds fair enough. Please send me an e-mail (braverichard@hotmail.com) and let's continue from there. Thanks!
