W123 parts - all new from MB! Abandoned project

Note to all W123 owners... I have two W123 cars, both wonderful.. I had planned to restore my wagon and Coupe with ALL NEW MB parts, and even got good deals from local dealerships for a whole "shed" of parts which I collecte dover 3 years or so....(they said: "take this lot or you don't get a discount!")... however...

Unexpected 3rd child in 3 weeks makes me have to abandon the whole idea. Bum.

So... I will have completed a list of the 4-500 NEW parts I have (together with online picture links) by the weekend.

If you are interested in any of the parts, PM me and I will post you an Excel or PDF file of the parts I have for sale. I can either list the parts you need as a packaged private eBay sale (to protect us both), or if you choose, you may trust me ;-)

These are genuine, "bagged and tagged" new old stock supplied to me personally. This is NOT a business, it is 100% private.

I also have approx 100 M102 engine restoration parts in the same list!

Let me know if you're interested in the parts LIST and I will shove out the list to everybody at the same time, once it is complete.

I am not a W123 engineer, however, so please do not ask me "do you have the flange for the '86 300DT wagon's thingamy?" I'll not be able to help, but part codes and pictures WILL be there!! Now how wonderfully helpful is that?

I'd be looking for approx 35-40%% Euro dealership pricing, negotiable for quantity. I need to shift the parts!

Anyone interested in the lot?!

Cheers

>Joe

How much for the lot?
How much space does this lot take?
How much for crating and shipping?

(naturally, I am curious to see the list)

Mucho MB pricing!

Hiya Larry, well what a question!

Right, I have so far catalogued 402 parts, with some multiples, with 2 more boxes to go. I would have said 10 boxes in total. Weight.. good question. I would have to get a carrier to to come and quote.

Crating, maybe 300UK, shipping, probably same again, surface. BUT I really do not know yet!!

For the lot? The MB retail value (as I have been cataloguing the parts) is now up to *exactly* € 10,000.87 EURO or £7,289.48 UK GBP (at 1.41 conversion).

If you took the lot, you can have 70% discount on MB pricing, plus shipping on top.. which is a HECK of a deal. Otherwise if I sold off part by part it's more like 60% off.

PM me if you're seriously interested in the parts and I'll entertain more effort on the shipping & crating quotes for you.

Anyone else wanting to think about the "lot" ? Go-on make it easy! ;-)

cheers..

hey Ron, thanks, what I have said I'll do is send out a list of the parts, codes and item description that I have (once it's all complete).

I am getting the data from looking up partcodes from the 1/1/5 dated MB partcode CDROM. it does not tell me if the part is for a particular coupe, wagon or sedan, however.

I will therefore HAVE to caveat the list by saying YOU need to ENSURE codes match before buying!

"I am not a W123 engineer, however, so please do not ask me "do you have the flange for the '86 300DT wagon's thingamy?" I'll not be able to help, but part codes and pictures WILL be there!! Now how wonderfully helpful is that?"

Perhaps someone on the board can explain how to get detailed specific information on parts from just their CODES ALONE? THHHEEENNNNN I'll be able to help even more-so!!

thanks and List to be published/distributed this week!!

I'm looking for the rear fog lamp lens (red), that mounts below the bumper on euro wagons in place of one of the clear backup lights on the U.S. cars. Let me know if you have one and would be willing to ship to U.S. Thanks!

While I'm at it, have you got a pair of rear air cells for the rear self-leveling suspension system? If I'm considering shipping from your location, I may as well get my money's worth!

W123 parts lists here!

Hello, and thanks for your patience! I have finally sorted and catalogued all the parts as far as I am able.

Right – PHEW! Here we go….

Excel List: (contains links to pics)

There are TWO sheets, one with parts, the other with shipping quotes!

Excel

PDF List:

PDF (parts)

and

Shipping rates[list]
(shipping)

Pictures

If picture URLs above don’t load, then download locally, and add the .jpg extension to the filename, or I can send manually, just list me the reference numbers. (1 to 451)

Please note these conditions of sale, and how I think we should approach this!

Prices and descriptions are quoted from 1/1/5 MB Parts data CDROM
I have codes, and limited descriptions. YOU need to ENSURE parts compatibility BEFORE ordering! I am not an MB mech! (sorry)

I have provided pics and as much detail as I reasonably can, remember 65% off MB dealership prices! No returns, and no warranty, items sold as seen, but SOLD AS NEVER USED NEW IN BOXES AND BAGS!

I have provided weights of the actual items. Shipping weight will be 15-20% higher.

The pricing CDROM provides EURO pricing, I have converted into UK GBP at a 1.41 rate.

The prices paid and payment made will be in UK GBP (paypal, western union, cash, cheques, postal orders, bidpay, nochex, or USD via Paypal (plus 4%).
DO NOT pay me until we agree final shipping options for your order.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED (make sure your PC time is correct!). I will deal with orders in strict sequence, but reserve rights to sell the lot to one buyer!
Offers for the WHOLE LOT to be received before 24 Feb 2005. After which time, individual payments and orders will be processed.

Note as I am a private individual, I may be inundated with similar private requests for parts, I am not set-up for bulk parcel posting. YOU WILL get your parts, and I WILL work as fast as I can. Gawwd I’m gonna need to buy some packaging!

If you want shipping quotes, PLEASE total up the WEIGHT of each item you want, and provide me with a WEIGHT total and address! You ALSO have a shipping calculator on the Excel Sheet.

(UK Parcelforce will be £13 per 20KG parcel .. plus packaging!) Of course, you may arrange your own carrier!

I reserve the right to use a Bulk Pallet (if many of my USA W123 friends wish to order parts), and split the consignements at the other side of the pond. All this is done automatically, but each person wanting parts will have to agree to this, allowing for huge economies of scale! The final price of your part of the consignment will be determined only once EVERYBODY has paid their final quoted share!.

Thanks!

Double roller blind

I see you have two trim pieces for a tan double roller blind. By any chance do you have a double roller blind in Tan you would be willing to sell along with the trim pieces for my 300TD?
