WTB: Early w126 Power Steering Box
I am looking for a TIGHT w126 power steering box. I don't care if it leaks...I just need some tighter gears (my benz is not being so nice to drive).
If you happen to know if the w123 innards will work in the w126 box please speak up as I have a very tight w123 gear set. Thanks!

Part NUmber
Check the part numbers...I think they are the same steering box....If not let me know either way...I have a couple for a 126....from a 1984-380SE and from a 1984-300SD.....Jim

I was doing some part number comparisons and they seem different. Apparently the one I took out of this w123 has a w116 number stamped into it? I will have to look closer. Any savy people abound?
