Wanted: Blue Dashboard For 300d W123 1983
I am wanting a replacement dashboard for my cracked dashboard. Color is BLUE. The car is a W123 series, 300TD year 1983. I think any W123 78-85 should work.
Thanks!!! |

There was a perfect blue 1983 300d Dashboard
Assuming it is still there it is not likely that it is gone yet. There is a perfect blue dash and it is a pull your part so prices are pretty cheap but. I would have to find out what they charge. Then I have to pull it find a big box and bubble wrap pack it and send it to you. It should be less than a hundred for everything if the dash is less then $60 If you have any interest I will get firm price to you. If you don’t mind paying some bucks I might sell you a mint set of burl wood interior wood trim kit including the ash tray that has been used less than 20 times it is life. A truly unique upgrade to go with your new dash how many w123 with burl wood inside instead of the ugly stock wood have you seen? I just brought this up because the car with the blue dash is next to the car I got the wood from.
Let me know if you’re interested. DHS |

I am also looking for a nice blue dash for Brutus. I also need a crack-free "D" pillar cover for the pass side at the tailgate if you come accross these parts let me know...

I am interested
DHS--
Thanks for your reply, I am definitely interested in the blue dashboard. I have had no luck in finding a perfect blue dashboard around me. Can you tell me, do you remember if that dashboard has the climate sensor hole? If not, I guess I could just place the hole there myself. Anyway, let me know if you what you think. I am interested in getting a blue dash, thanks for responding to my thread!!!! --CD |

bad day
I got up bright and early to make the wrecker rounds and not a quarter mile from my house the brakes on my 450 se rolling parts car failed. I got it home using the E brake to stop found one of the front pads had separated from the metal plate leaving no brake pad. I went bought new pads put them on the 300d took the old pads from the 300d put them on the 450 se I use the 450 for junk yard runs because I don’t have a truck and it wont pass smog is missing side windows door panels rear seats and just about every part that could be sold without keeping the car from driving. Boy did taking off the air cleaner completely no filter improve performance by a remarkable amount any way I don’t care what I put in it tie on top of it or hang 4 feet out of the trunk. But that pretty much killed going to the yards today so now I am shooting for Saturday but then I will just pull parts and stash them they are significantly cheaper Tuesday thru Thursday. I will let you know and god I love Mercedes same brake pads on a late 1970s full size car as on a mid 1980 mid size car I wonder though am I cheap for doing the pads like that or frugal?
