OK Here's the story.

A buddy of mine sells and refinishes rims. We were talking the other day and he told me about Mike Tyson's rims. apparantly Mike Tyson drives (or drove) a 1999 E series. Well, shortly after he bought the car, he had the rims removed and replaced with some 20" rims. My buddy has the rims and they have been sitting in the corner of his shop for the last 5 or 6 years.

I saw one, it was beautiful, looks like brand new.

Hard to tell how much of this story is true and how much is not. I'll assume the "markings" in the ad on eBay are right.

If so, these did NOT come off of an E class. Nor will they fit other models that you list. Nor are they from a 1999. The bolt pattern you list is also incorrect.

These are standard 8 hole wheels from a W140 S Class 1992-1996.

I can only tell you what I've been told. My buddy doesn't know Mercedes models as he is in the Rim business. He has no reason to misrepresent the Rims, as he wasn't looking to sell them when we started talking about them. It was kinda a matter of factly.

I changed the eBay add to remove some potentially misleading info,,, Thank you. I will stop back at his shop and jot down some more numbers off the rims.

Whether or not they were Mike Tysons is irrelevant, (I have no documentation that they were indeed his) but I do believe that the rims have not seen many miles and as close to New without being new, at a fraction of the cost.
