A friend of mine is looking for this.... preferably somewhere in the southeast.... GA, NC, SC, FL, etc....

I think the straight six from an early E-class will fit too, with a little tweaking.

Anyone here that can help him out?

Is this a Euro car? the 300SE/L didn't come to the US until 1988. He can get the engine from a 300E, 300TE, and 300CE as well.

Hmm....Might be an 88....I thought he said 87.

I have a engine that I am getting ready to pull from a 1990-300E with 95K on the working odometer....This car was hit in the rear and pushed into the car in front of it...I saved the hood and both fenders but the grill and insert were cracked and bent and radiator and condensor and aux. fan were bent, plus the plastic bumper was cracked but the engine fan was not hurt and the engine will run....i have salvaged most of the interior also.....anyhow I am located in southern Indiana about 430 miles to Atlanta...Jim
