Feeler: 4 professionally refinished 123 Wheels

I have a set of 4 wheels that have been professionally refinished...they came off a 1985 300DT...they are perfect in every way...absolutely brand new looking...same color paint as the originals.

What are these worth?

Thanks...

Bundts with nice silver paint? Is there clearcoat over that?
to get that job done professionally will run about $50 per wheel, more in some areas (depending on the shop)
as to what someone will pay for the wheels, that depends on who needs or wants them the most. Put them on eBay and lets see where they go.

I spent about $100 per wheel to have mine powdercoated and clearcoated.

Is the clear coat to give an advantage in keeping the brake dust from accumulating so quickly? It would make sense if it fills more pores than the paint or is it just to protect the paint?
Steve

I have excellent looking wheels on the '84 and before it hits the road again I may want to take some preventative steps.

I restored a set last fall. I used Aircraft stripper to remove the paint. If I had to do it again I'd gladly pay $50 per rim just to avoid the hassle...
