Hey yall, does anyone have the wood panel for the AC Pushbuttons that they would like to part with? Year, zebrano or burl, cracks, finish, doesn't matter. I need a template for my in dash GPS. Any configuration of button cutouts will do. It just has to be a complete assembly. This is all I need to finish this project up. Cash or trade. C'mon, who's stashing one? Somebody has got to of replaced a cracked or dull one. Help me out!

Thanks,
Bill

Your very nice MBZ

Bill,

This Email might be alittle out of place, but I was unable to email you directly, I was wondering about your source of parts. I would really appreciate a decent lead

Thanks

Thanks Alot guys, I snagged one off Ebay for a good price of which I was willing to pay. Made the winning bid with only seconds to spare (had to register first). I will snap a lot of shots and post them on my sight. Soon to be navigating the East Coast!

Jason M., not sure if I can help you out, i'll drop you an email.

Later,
Bill

Bill,

Please give us as much information as possible on your GPS. What unit did you get? Do you have to add an external antenna.

Can't wait for the pictures.

Have a great day,

GPS

Larry,
I've got the Mercedes dash mounted GPS that is found in the 98-99 MLs, early 210, and 140 car. It basically consists of a Navi cd drive that mounts under the rear deck in the trunk, roughly a 4x8 inch Head Unit, and wiring harness. There is a flat square antenna thats about the size of a silver dollar that is simply mounted on the rear deck under the glass or on the dash under the windshield.

The graphics are not as great or as detailed as the new COMAND system navis which is just like the Alpine. But I've used this older unit in an ML for a long while and like its simplicity and its pretty dam accurate. I think it will look real nice integrated into the center dash panel and will give the timeless design of the 124 interior a new feel. The COMAND unit is pretty large and will take some time to properly wire in. I will definitely snap a ton of pics to post. My euro r/mirror is in route and should also be expecting that soon for a pictorial.

Later,
Bill
