Hello all. I have recently aquired a 1989 260e and want to change the fuel filter. I went to the local parts store and purchaced one but I cant locate it on the car. I have 15 years experience with mechanics but not on Mercedes. Can some one help me before My wife gets left becide the road AGAIN.

it is under the rear of the car by the drivers side rear tire, there is a black plastic cover that protects the fuel pump assemby along with the filter
