123 4 Speed Manual Transmission Package

This is a complete 4 speed installation just removed from a low mileage 77 240D. The tranny shifted perfectly. Includes, an early iron case tranny, flywheel, clutch disk, pressure plate, release bearing, pedal assembly, shifter assembly and rods, cross member/mount and drive shaft. The rod linkage has all been marked for easy reassembly. The pressure plate has been match marked to the fly wheel and the driveshaft sections have been match marked before parting to maintain balance. The clutch system is in good condition no scoring of the fly wheel, no unusual wear on the pressure plate or release bearing, both the master and slave cylinders work well. The only parts needed for an install would be new shifter arm bushings, if you wanted it perfect you could use a new clutch hard line as the original has some outside rust and a new clutch driven plate as the original used one maybe should be replaced during the install rather than doing it again in the future. FedEx shipping anywhere in the lower 48 should be less than $150 or you can pick it up locally, I’m asking $450 for the entire package.

I have a later aluminum cased tranny in similar condition if someone has that preference!

I also have a 716.XXX 4 speed from a 230E if anyone is looking for one. This tranny has the starter bulge on the drive’s side rather than the passenger side as on the 615/6/7 engines. It should bolt to other gas engines and the 60X series of later diesel engines.

I have a very nice black 123 rear shelf First Aid compartment together with a complete white First Aid Kit. The compartment is perfect, both hinges are undamaged and both latching clips are intact, the White Cross sticker is there but somewhat wrinkled and cracked.

I’ve taken the engine, the interior is rough, but if there are any parts your looking for from this chassis let me know and I’ll see if they’re worth having. The entire heater/AC box has been pulled as a unit if anyone needs that. Please PM me with any questions or requests. Thanks
