Auxillary/extra Large Fuel Tank 126

I seem to be on a roll in cleaning out my shed and the biggest part in the shed is this 30-ish gal. aluminum auxillary fuel tank and hardware out of a 1981 300SD . I'm pretty sure this was dealler installed . The tank sits in front of the shocks (It would be a real pain to remove the top Shock nut) between the wheelhumps, midline, on welded wings. Included is the partition that would need new carpet. This tank is the kind that has a fill-neck that takes the place of the stock filler neck. The fuel level sensor is an OEM part. I have done a search and have not come up with much info. So make me an offer.

Size

The size is Apx.35''L X 23"W @ Top X 15"W @ bottom. As you can kinda see by the pics. it is smaller at the base so as not to interfer with the spare-tire.
The Wt. is apx. 35lbs -so a guess is $35. I work on Tus. On Wed. I'm off so I can go to UPS and get a firm price.
Thanks for your interest

Regards

yes, please find out how much to ship, and it would need to be well protected, it would really be a gamble on whether it got here without damage. Also, I need the height as well, I believe it should fit but I've had experience with tanks being just a hare too big to fit. Thanks very much.

I never thought to see if it would fit my 123 240D. If it dose not sell may have to try- If it's not to much weight.

You should go post on the WVO sites. I bet it sells quickly over there.
