WANTED:Looking for the encapsulation panels(shrouding) for a 1987 300D sedan or 300TD wagon. These panels fit under the engine to minimize the diesel clatter. Not sure, but thers may be some shrouding on top of the engine as well.
Can anyone help?

There is one isolated panel under the engine and one longer panel under the transmission box. You can order them new at the MB dealer; these panels are not that expensive. It is even possible to order a steel carter protection plate (with isolation) instead of the plastic panel (in case you need the protection...).
The only isolation on top of the engine is the isolation that is stick on the complete innerside of the hood.

greetingz,
