Jimmy-I will see if I can get the seat cover off without destroying it. I tried rebuilding one other MB seat, but gave up because I couldn't get the cover off. I had directions that stated there is a metal bar that fit in a slot. I never could get that thing forced out.

Thanks,
Glenn

Seems like there is just a cardboard lip that has to be removed from a strip. It helps to mash down on the seat while pulling the cardboard edge downward. You will see. This of course is after separating the seat from the seat back.
Do you have a pic of the seat bottom? {passenger side was the good one, right?}
Me and Chris are trying to get this car a little piece at a time.
Thanks,
Jimmy

You are welcome for the hinge. Tell everyone I gave you a sweet deal. I still have lots of parts left to sell.

Jim and Chris-I have 2 good seat covers of the same color. I have one cover off another drivers seat that the guy threw in with the car when I bought it. He wanted to swap it because it had decent seat springs but never got around to it. So you each can have one. One does have a small tear on a side near the bottom and they both could use a good cleaning. I have those already removed and an armrest cover removed. (Thanks Jimmy for giving me a clue on how this is done. I need to remove a seatback cover for Chris yet. If either of you need pictures before purchasing I will see what I can do with my cheapo digital camera. Just let me know.

Thanks,
Glenn

All of my buyers for the injector pump (IP) have lost interest. So, it is still available for $100 plus shipping.

Anything else, name your part, name your price.

pics for Jim

Here are some better pics Jim. Do you need the black plastic piece with the passenger panel also, or just the Henna top part? I will tell you some of the padding on the back side has been torn up by mice, but no too much.

Chris-I will get some better pics for you too. I only saw Jim's PM for getting more pics before.

pics for Chris

Here are pics of the seat bottom Chris. The seatback is dead. It suffered some mishandling and developed some new tears so I don't think you would want it anymore from your description of what you were doing.

Here is a close-up of the tear. It is covered by the plastic.

Yes Glenn, I need the back plastic piece also. Are the seat "panel" pieces still "puffy". The look shredded from the pick of the underneath side.
That is Henna, right???????

The seat covers are still puffy on the inside. The shredded look is from the cloth that goes over the foam. The cloth is shredded, but the foam is not.

As far as it being Henna, I really have no idea. I don't know the MB color names and my VIN is too old to be decoded by the online decoder. I can send my VIN if you know how to decode it, or if you need some other picture to help be sure of the color, I can get it to you.

Thanks,
Glenn
