FS 300 SD instrument cluster 1983? - $35
Got this off ebay for $35, thought I could use the tach in my w123, but it'll take too much butchering of my original cluster to make it work. I think its from an '83.
PM or email works. Thanks

The meter movement & circuit board are the same for 123 & 126. Just remove the clock hands & tach needle, remove gauge face (3 small screws), then remove the 3 screws that hold the meter to the back of the cluster (red arrows in picture) & cut the 3 wires. Solder wires to your cluster, install meter, gauge face, tach needle & clock hands & you're done. Only takes about 10 minutes once cluster is out of the car. I just installed a 123 meter movement & circuit board in my 126.

But my cluster only has a big clock with no tach. I'd have to re-shape or re-work the rear plate of the clock to get the tach/clock combo to mount to my existing plate. I'm sure it could be done, but I'm looking for more of a drop-in replacement. If I don't find anything, I'll give this a try, thanks!
