Need 123 Ivory Front Fenders

I just bought dwestlind’s 123 300d turbo (See FS in Oregon, 1983 wrecked 300D turbo $200) and am going to need a couple front fenders, maybe a hood, bumpers, rubber bumper end caps, radiator and some other items. I could use the rear right quarter panel as well. It would need to be cut at the center of the molding line, from the back of the door to the tail light. Please contact me if you have some of these parts for sale. I’d prefer ivory fenders so I don’t need to paint them. You can reach me by email at jhuntcasi@peak.org or call me at 541 487-4246. I bought this car for my daughter’s birthday present on 11-27 so I’m in a time crunch to get these parts ASAP.

Thanks,

mb300se65 (aka Jerry)

It Makes Sense to Me

Buy what ever color parts car you can that has no rust... you are going to have to paint the quarter panel so why not paint the front fenders and the hood at the same time... Easy to do the fenders and hood because of very little trim to mess with and the trim will come off the front fenders by using a couple screw drivers to pry off at the plastic fasteners... the male fittings are always reuseable just buy some red female fittings(called cherries)... the rear trim will also pop off except on the corner their is a bolt... I have all the parts but shipping costs and time would be a killer... Jim

James:

I’ve contacted multiple sources around the country trying to find a couple ivory fenders and have not had any luck, so it looks like I’m going to need to do as you suggest and buy ones I’ll need to paint. What do you want for the parts you have?
