WTB-oil sender-300 turbo diesel
folks, I've got an 85 sedan 300 turbo diesel. Runs great but shows no oil pressure reading. I'm guessing it's just the sender. Anyone have one cheap that I can swap and maybe fix the problem?

Doesn't that car have a mechanical oil pressure gauge?
Or is it a 300SD? Sixto 87 300D |

sixto,
I was told that the sender was at the base of the oil filter housing. I've not looked for it, but found a new one and don't want to spring for the cost of new. We got horrible weather today, but if it stops, I'll have a look this weekend and see if it's got a sender unit. Mike |

If your car is a 300SD then it should have a sender on the oil filter housing. Check the parts forum for used senders. I can vouch for jim16671836.
Unless I'm very much mistaken an 85 300D has line that carries oil from the engine to the gauge. Sixto 87 300D |

If you can trust eBay sellers, I see new senders for $25 shipped on eBay.
