1989 190E 2.6 5-speed for sale or parts
 

Hello all,

I have a 1989 190E 2.6 with a five speed. The car was purchased for parts, but it turns out it ran and drove well. Was parked by previous owner due to some electrical gremlins (turn signals, alarm system, etc).

The engine has 187,000 miles and runs great (other than occasional idle issues). No smoke at start-up, etc.

Transmission and clutch worked fine. I personally drove the car around the block a few times...

Exterior is white and in fair shape. Has fairly recent paint.

Interior is blue and is quite nice. No cracks in dash, carpet is wonderful, upholstery is nice (one small patch on drivers seat).

I needed some parts on this car more than I needed the whole car, so I scavenged a few things:

Hood and grille
Shifter and rods
Tranny crossmember
Shifter wood plate

That's all. Find those items, tear out the alarm system, and you have a decent car. Really too nice to completely part out......

Located just east of Raleigh, NC. Has a clean NC title.

Do you have ABS in your 190E? If yes, I am looking for both front ABS sensors (must in excellent working conditions). Will you want to part it out? How much you want? Thanks

I'd rather not part it out at this time.

I'm hoping someone will save it and put it back on the road. If I do decide to strip it, I will repost.

Hi Klaus, you know I gotta look at the 190....or is it the same you had last time I saw you? No that had tan interior, but I'm interested. Maybe you can send me an email or pm and let me know when I can hear it run.

And as far as the abs is concerned, all I need is a part number and I'll check my inventory for you Jeff.

Good to hear from you! I don't think I had this 190E last time. I bought it to use for some sheetmetal for the '92 190. Ended up to be a pretty decent car but must thin the herd!!!!!!!!
