I just broke another chunk of my tail light off today washing my car, and it is at the point now where legality is an issue.

Does anyone have a fairly good used set of tail lights I could purchase from them?

If not does anyone know a place that sells smoked W124 wagon tail lights?

Good luck finding a set of those smoked lights for you car... Those are super hard to find...

As for regular W124 Wagon Taillights, check with Phil above...

Yeah I hear; I contacted Ken from Import Vision and he said that his shipping department says they will be in later on this week however reading though the thread on these forums about others talking with Ken I am weary to put my money into them just yet.

Who is "Phil above"?

Phil is the guy above on Fastlane....

He can locate and/pr track down any part for you...

If not, try some of the recyclers.... Silver Star Recycling in Sacramento, CA has a pretty good selection of stuff....

I am curious as to how you broke a chunk of light off by washing it...

Let me see if I can find someone whos got an extra wagon taillight.

Haha, yeah it was slightly broken when I got it, went to a DIY car wash (for engine bright purposes), decided to wash the car and the brush ripped a huge chunk off. I have 3M tail light repair tape on it now but that is not good!

Thanks for looking! I sent out a message from www.usedpartscentral.com to find the used part, they apparently sent an e-mail to multiple places and my gmail notifier just told me I got a reply so we'll see how that goes.

I have ordered from Zubehor tuning in the past and they were timely, responsive with e-mails and they had a quality product to offer. I am going to order a set tonight! (I still think I need to get a used passanger side one to pass inspection unless I can get these through the radar)

Does everything else have the headlight switch with the individual parking lights? Right/Left side? I noticed that by accident last night and I remember my neighbors 2000 BMW had that feature as well.

If you can't get it through inspection now, what are you going to do next time? Is someone really going to care? Not trying to be a smart-ass... I just don't know. MS doesn't have an inspection beyond "do you lights come on, do your windshield wipers work, and does your horn beep"

Every Mercedes I've ever owned has this feature... seems to be a German thing.

i just ordered a set of these for my wagon. thanks for the link! a friend of mine has had an order with importvision for over 2 months with no lights yet. i will let you know if/when mine come in.
