Post the VIN# and/or pics so we can see what options it has.

If it is Palomino, I'm interested the rear-cover over the spare tire. . .

1/4 of this thread is me asking if the interior is Palomino; maybe you missed that but it is tan (EDIT: its Cream-beige).

Free BumP!

EDIT: I am suprised with all these WYSIWYG editor features there is no strikeout for text.

There is no "tan" color. It is either Palomino or Creme-Beige. Most people consider Palomino to be "tan". See post #12 (click here) for info, look at the photo I linked to... is yours that color? Or can you post the VIN of the car, so we can look up the datacard in the EPC? That would settle the question once & for all...

Parchment is a 1994/95 color only, and the 4Matic was only sold in USA from 90-93, so it can't be Parchment. Creme-Beige and Parchment are similar, but not identical. Likewise, Palomino and Saddle are similar, but not identical. The difference is more obvious on the uphostery than in the carpet, but anyway, maybe these pics will help:

Palomino:

Creme-Beige:

Saddle:

Parchment:

You never did confirm if the interior is Palomino or Cream-Beige, even after the pretty pictures were posted above to help out. "Tan" still means nothing... is there some reason you don't want to post the VIN?

I'm not going to post the vin as I have already sold the locks. It's lighter than palomino so it must be cream beige.

comfort control unit

I need a comfort control unit for my 1992 300D. The part # is 202 820 09 26. There is a picture of it here
http://www.***************/secure/PartImages/2028200926.jpg

It is used on almost all the 1991-99 cars. Is under the back seat, drivers side, under the felt near the door. Easy to see and get it out - 2 10mm bolts and 5 electrical connectors.

I could really use that if it's still there...

The EPC shows that part # as applicable to the 4-matic wagon so you have dibbs. I'll have to dig it out and double check to make sure. I'll sell it for 75$ plus about 10$ to ship it.

thanks
Chris

Great, I'll take it. How do I send the money? Paypal?

It's pretty easy to get out. Pull out the back seat and it's on drivers side under the felt covering. Take out the 3 central electric plugs first, and then push the tab near the middle outwards to release the outer electric connectors (one each side). The tab slides outwards and releases the connector. It can help to pull the connector outwards as you push the tab.
