Parting out 124 4-matic wagon

Had a parking lot hit and run take out the front end of my 92 4-matic wagon. Buying another rather than repairing it so I'm parting it out to recoup some of my loss. Hurry up and call dibbs on what you want.

What color is the interior? Where are you located. Do you have the rear sound panel under the car?

Sorry to hear about your accident, that really horrible and whoever did that should be shot! =(

Let me just say that...

If you have the Palomino Interior I call dibs on the following:
  1. Palomino Hatch Card
    1. The Palomino Card that covers the hatch, the bottom plastic piece that meets the metal hatch hinge on the body as well.
    2. On second thought if you had the Palomino interior and the Gold exterior I might buy the whole hatch from you!
    3. All of your door cards (I really hope your local)
  2. Passenger Side Sun Visor and Clip! (Or just the clip)
List number two of General things I want:
  1. (if working) Passenger Side Window Regulators
I am sure there is more that I want but since you haven't given us a picture or any other details (besides that its a 4-matic which is awesome) we will have to wait.

I guess that you guys would want details.

It is black on the exterior, although not much body wise is good in front of the windshield. The interior is tan and although it has a lot of miles there are still a few nice interior parts.

The car is very near to Denver Co. ie 80113

Do you know which tan. How about sound insulation panels under the car? Do you still have them? Are they in good shape?

It's just the tan, not the palomino. The 4-matics only have the 6 bolt bellypan in the front, this one is in average condition for a 200K mi car

I thought tan was Palomino? I am confused.

Either way, do your passenger side windows work well? If they are flawless let me know how much shipped to 08880, unfortunately you are not that close to NJ.

Palomino is a lighter tan with a white bias, the tan in mine is very yellow biased. Th window regulators are all good. I'll get you a price soon, I'm out the door to work at the moment.

Plastic Actuator Arm from Airbox for Defroster Vent

I have a 91 300d W124, looking for the Plastic Actuator Arm that contols the Defrost Vent on the right side of the Airbox behind the glove compartment. (Also could use the glove compartment liner).

The Plastic arm screws into the side of the Airbox just above the 7 way Vacuuum Manifold (Could use that too) and connects to the Metal (Brass Colored) arm coming from the Pink Vacumm Pod that opens and closes the Defrost Vent. If the Vacuum Pod works, I would be interested in it too.

I have a picture of what the arm looks like and from what I can tell it screws into the side of the Airbox to the shaft that opens/closes the vent.

Thanks!

Hi,

I am looking for a Klima relay. Yours might not be the exact part # I need (003 545 52 05), but it could work since I believe the 90's diesel share a similar Klima/KD relay. Mine looks like the one in the attached picture and on my '95 E300D is located behind the battery with several other similar looking relays. Let me know if you have.

Thanks,

Mark

Clarification:

Palomino is the orange/brown color, sort of a medium tan color. Click here for a photo of a Palomino interior, and here is another photo.

Cream-beige is the very light tan color, almost ivory/white. I don't have a photo handy for that color but it's very different than Palomino.

Both colors changed slightly for 1994/95 models, Palomino became Saddle, and Cream-Beige became Parchment. They are similar, but NOT the same.

You can tell for sure what the interior color is by decoding the VIN with the EPC.

@Dave - Thanks for clearing that up

@duxthe1 - That is unfortunate but then again maybe a good thing as shipping on everything I wanted with that interior would have been too expensive.

I could however still use:
  1. Both Passenger Side Window Regulators

.. I am sure I am forgetting about something so when I remember I will let you know!

Thanks,

Frank

Kaiz3n, both regulators are good, you have dibbs

greenlogic, both lock cylinders are good, I have a single key but will provide you with the vin# that matches the keys, are you interested in the ign lock tumbler too? Also have the center console storage compartment also matching the locks.

tankowner, you have dibbs on the klima relay if it is applicable for your car

aareed, you have dibbs on the defrost arm, no glovebox in the car, has passenger airbag

Bob, the firewall is different than the later wagon so I don't think those parts interchange. I have a right side rear speaker cover no left. My wagon has the 3rd row seat and I don't think there are tie downs, I'll check though. I do have an oil pressure sensor but again I'm not sure it is the same part for the 320

Right now I'm still trying to get a replacemnt wagon as I only have a motorcycle right now, so things are a bit hectic. As time allows I'll get you guys prices for these parts, typically I sell used parts for around 1/4 retail.
