FS: Genuine Bosch W124 Euro Lights/Corners

I have a set of genuine Bosch Euro lights and corners that I used on my W124. I purchased these at my local MB dealer about a year ago, and they are in very good / excellent condition. I believe I paid $520 for these, my receipt is around here somewhere. I think I drove about 20k miles with these lights on my 300TE over the last year - so they are still in great shape.

One of the corner lights has a small chip broken off from the edge - not very noticeable. Please note that these are genuine Euro corners as well, and are a darker amber color than US OE - they are not "clear" corners - those are not what was delivered in Europe, contrary to the opinion of some.

These lights do have the connections which makes the beam-height adjustable, although I never got around to implementing that feature on my 300TE.

All the bulbs are included in this sale, and I've got an extra (new) H4 bulb that is also included.

When I took this set off of my car (prior to trade-in on an ML) I did not grab the connectors for these lights (quickie swap job), so you might have to buy a set of connectors to complete your install (I just don't remember what all was involved when I installed these last summer).

Remember, these are genuine Bosch Euro lights and I have all of the original packaging (yellow Bosch box) that these came in. My parts guy at the local dealer believes this was the last pair of W124 Bosch Euros that he was ever able to source from his official/factory parts stream.

First $400 (plus actual shipping to your location within the US) gets them. Paypal only. I'd much rather sell these here than deal with ebay...

No takers?

Just curious here. I'd appreciate some feedback on my Euro lights package that is for sale:

1. Is the price too high?
2. Is there nobody that is looking to upgrade their headlights on a W124?
3. Does the fact that this set is genuine Bosch make any difference to anyone?
4. Does the fact that the buyer might have to locate a set of plugs to make these work a big problem? If so, I'll see what I can do to make a completely "plug and play" (pun intended) set.
5. Would a set of photos help here?

I haven't gotten any replies to this thread although it appears that 42 people have viewed it. Any suggestions about selling this light set would be appreciated. I'd rather sell to someone here who appreciates these type of lights rather than deal with ebay, etc.

Thanks for reading this.

People aren't spending money on the w124s like they used to. $400 is a great price for OEM bosch units, but most people would rather spend the $175 for the depo throw away models on ebay. BTW, those blinkers are about $125-150 for the pair new from MB if you walked into a dealer in germany. The DOT ones from the dealer are $100 list a SIDE now.

If they were 500E hella E-codes that would be a different story.

I would keep the price where its at, the right person will come. If you are in a bind, then do what you must.

those connectors are less than $10, so that probably isnt a big deal. If this helps:
2 6 pin housing 006 545 80 28
2 cover for 6 pin housing 009 545 30 28
2 4mm pins (for wiring up city light) 003 545 26 26

Eventually someone will catch a stone, and then beg you to sell them yours for $400.

And pictures always help! Especially with any high dollar item.

Pictures forthcoming...

I'll post pictures of the lights and corners shortly - I do realize that photos really help folks confirm that they are in excellent condition.

These units will need to be double-boxed - I don't really trust the boxes they came in. I'll post the shipping weight when I get the outer boxes and all the packaging. It will be two boxes and that will make shipping an amount to consider in all of this.

Thanks!

I'll get the photos tomorrow. Sorry for my laziness today. Had to mow and then watch the Bengals lose - it's a ritual around here

W124 lights

I agree with omegabenz.

I have a 300E and Installed the Bosch euro's on my W201. The light pasterns are excellent. I wouldn't put the cheep o lights on my 300E even if some one gave me a pair.

Not to mention what happens to plastic headlamp lenses as time passes, just look at them in the junk yards dull white and cloudy.

I know I can get the full set with corners for $660 new. $400 + shipping is a good price for a like new used set. I just have other things happening now that stop me from picking this set up from you.

Now if you have them listed for quit a while and get to the point you want to just sell them for whatever you can get for them let me know. /// NOT A LOW BALL OFFER \\\

I think your price is fair. Someone will come a crossed them soon enough and be happy to get the pair.

Pictures, finally

Sorry about the delay, but here are a few pictures:

(Due to size restrictions on picture uploads here, this is the best I can post. I can email the originals, but they are about 2MB each)

Also, please note the small chip on the passenger side corner light at the upper left-hand corner.
