NOT MINE -- just saw them on CL and thought they might be of interest.

May need some spacers for those if they came off of a W201, as their offsets are different than the W123.

The ones on my wagon came off a SEC, since the wheels were made pre-W201, (right POS?) I think I'm okay.

I just got off the phone with him, and he found the original black center caps.

I haggled him down quite a bit, but I imagine shipping will be expensive.

I guess Ol' Turbo will match Norm.

See if you can get him to pack them each in a box, then tape 2 boxes together so you have two total boxes. They're not so bad that way. I just shipped some from IL to the northeast and they were around $70 total. Of course, I packed them myself.

I just shipped two of the exact same wheels UPS Ground for $22. Put them in one Staples shipping box, 18x18x18, with lots of old newspapers around them. US postal service would have been 3 times that.

I've been meaning to post a thread on the subject, but I guess I can start it here for a quick answer.

I can't get the center caps on the front wheels of Norm. This long, black... cylidrical shaped takes up all the space in the hub.

Is this removable or cuttable. I've seen plenty of Pentas on W123s, so I'm sure its an easy fix.

Nope, that just means they will never ever work on Norm. So, I guess you need to send 'em to Texas.....
Sounds like a protruding dust cap on your front hubs. Maybe it is larger than normal???

The SEC has similar suspension setup with the W123 and W116, but the W201 and W124 have the multilink setup, that requires a higher offset to begin with.

Re: fuel filler flap on wagon - when we had an '81 300TD, we had to stoop down a bit to fill 'er up. Same with the 300TE, but the slightly higher fuel filler lid makes it easier.

@Tyler, get a W201 or W124, so you can have a car to install those wheels on to
