He hasn't been back since the day he posted, but if you do come back I would be interested in any W124 service manuals if they even came in manual form.
My W124 knowledge is fledgling at best.....

124 manuals did come in paper form. There are two volumes covering body and chassis, one for electrical troubleshooting, one for Climate Control, and one for each engine offered. There is at least one revision to the electrical for later years.
