For a W126 would I need to get down between the firewalls to attach this?
Also, is the fuse ample protection? What is the need for the battery disconnect? Very interested in purchasing

Yes the auxiliary water pump electrical connection is in between the firewalls near the top, next to the mono-valve on the passenger side. The one amp fuse is ample protect for the Climate Control Unit. The battery disconnect is used to quickly cut of electrical power to the circuit in event of an electrical fire. But it only works with the motor off and not spinning the alternator. It is also convenient for disconnecting electrical power to the car if you are doing repairs. Currently I have about 10 fuse links available. .

It's the season. Have a couple available and can make them if there is a need.
Little bump in price. $17.00 shipped for a fuse link. .

Richard, thanks again for sending those switches over, including the blower motor fuse! I have been reading around and saw your thread - which I replied to - but forgot about!
I'll put the blower motor fuse on before the end of 2013. In your other thread you used a 30A fuse, do you recommend using the same instead of the 20A fuse supplied?

Direct Blower Motor Fuse
Hey Pat, the blower motor fuselink with a 20 amp fuse is sufficient for keeping the car's fuse block from melting in event of a surge. If the blade type fuse came readily available as the stock 16 amp fuse, than I would of gone with a 16. The blade type come in at 15 amp and then 20 amps.
In this thread I used a 30 amp when my blower failed, but I have now used a 20 amp since. A w126 would use a 25 or 30 amp fuse. Inline Fuse on a HVAC Blower Motor BTW to all, I make these for sale also.

I've bought 2 of these a couple of years back. Great idea. No brainer. Using them for the blower motor is another good place for them. Good work.
Happy New Year
