450 SL misc hardware WTB

I was wondering if anybody has an SL they are parting out that I might be able to get some of the misc nuts, screws and bolts from it? I bought an SL project car sometime ago and it's now painted and I am starting the re-assembly process. So far I know I am missing a few of the small fine thread nuts that holds the chrome strip to the conv top cover. I can probably find nuts that will work locally but would prefer to use the right type. Also missing the screws that hold the chrome plates on top of the rear 1/4 where the conv top cover meets and also most of the chrome door plate screws. I am sure there are more misc bits and pieces I'll be hunting down.... but that's part of the process. It's worth it when it's done I don't need enough to justify buying a parts car as the car was mostly complete but a few things have come up missing or maybe they weren't there to begin with...? I bagged and tagged everthing I took off to paint it but others had been there before me...unfortunately.

I have had a few Mercedes over the years but am no expert on parts sources. It sure looks good with the fresh paint...I am also having trouble finding some of the paint protection gaskets for like the trunk handle chrome and the license plate light assembly chrome. Mine are OK but would buy a new if they are available. I have found the door handle gaskets but some of the other stuff seems to be hard to find.

My 450SL is a '76 and rather than trying to match all the right types of screws, nuts and clips that I'm sure I am missing and searching all over locally and still not finding exactly what I want...is it possible to just buy this kind of stuff from a Benz dealer parts department or is the car too old to still buy this kind of stuff? If so, I guess the next trick would be getting all the part numbers...?

I don't think I am missing a huge amount of special hardware but it would be nice to know where I can find the misc bits and pieces if anybody might know or if anybody has a doner car I could snag a few nuts and bolts off, that would sure be a handy resource to know about also.

I have a ton of SL parts from 72-83, many picked over but still a lot of good stuff left, just let me know specifics
