Talking FREE - 300TD seat and interior stuff and rear floor/tray, etc

I have an '85 300TD with Palomino interior that I upgraded with a 3rd seat from a junked '82. This makes the rear floor panel and under tray excess. Also the side interior panels (below the rear window) due to the extra hole for the shoulder straps.

I also have a set of rear (2nd row) seatbacks and related hardware excess. These seatbacks did not have headrests (or mounting holes) so I also upgraded to headrest versions from the '82. But they are in very good shape - even the rubber thingies to hold the seatbelts are intact.

I also have the 82's front passenger seat. I was going to use it's base to replace my driver's base with broken springs. But while it's in good shape, it's a lot more faded than I like and the pool noodle trick is doing OK on the present seat, so haven't tried to change it out.

I hate to dumpster good parts, but I don't have the space to keep 'em or expectation that I'll ever need them. I'm happy to do the legwork to ship if you cover the costs. Just PM me, and soon! Or call my work # 423 725 4010 ext 324 any time of day or night and leave a voicemail.

Mark

I'd like some pics of the side interior panels below the windows. My new wagon has the "pinkamino" affect going on, and I want to either (a) recover those side panels with non-pinkamino ones, or (b) get them recarpeted. Are yours in any better shape than mine?

Smile Stuff taken - Thanks!

Had somebody local snag everything. Glad there are folks out there that will do something with it. I sure didn't want to dumpster decent stuff.

Your picture looks exactly like my car. The pinkamino effect definitely happens to the carpet. I'm not keen on it either, but everything is at least still clean and intact. The upper non-carpeted panels (that the rear seat shoulder straps come through) were the only thing I had available and yours still look as decent as mine.

I'd say the only non-pink stuff you'll find is somebody who always kept the car garaged and didn't do a lot of driving in bright sunlight!

Was the floor carpet originally that greenish gold or is that a fade also? Mine is/was exactly like that too.
