WTB 82 w123 300CD speedo or complete cluster

need 82 w123 300CD speedo or complete cluster, would like to get my speedo to be correct after my trans swap. I have 3.07 gears so any speedo from a 3.07 car will work

Thanx

I thought the gearing for the speedo was in the trans.

I thought so too... shouldn't you be able to use any late model USV W123 speedo?
If we're incorrect then that means those with '85 models (2.88 gears) will need replacements from '85 models only?

unfortunately its not so easy, the speedo needs to match the rear end gear, the transmissions all have the same gear which cannot be changed. BTW, the 380SL,SLC and 560SL,SLC use a 2.47 gear. If you get one of those speedos the 2.47 swap will read correct
