Parting Out 1995 E420

Hey guys,

Parting out a 1995 E420. Smoke Silver over Grey. Exterior has a few dents, most things are pretty good. Interior is pretty nice really. Carpet/Wood/Dash/Door Panels all excellent.

Gone:
- Motor
- Engine Wiring Harness
- Exterior Lower Window Seal....things

Broken/Worn:

- Steering Wheel (Outside leather worn)
- Corner Lights
- Front Seat Bottoms
- Passenger Fender
- Front/Rear Bumpers (Cracked, Chrome is okay)

I'm tearing the car apart, and then its going to the bone yard, so let me know what you need and I can get photos and a price.

Center console wood is good IIRC. Forgive me for the lack of a memory, but exactly half of me thinks it is Zebrano, and the other half Burl. I'll be sure to get pictures this afternoon.

I am interested in the rear calipers, and AC compressor.

Front passenger door seal if it is in good shape

May be the neutral safety switch if it has been replaced.

Let me know.

"Standard luxury was abundant with burl walnut replacing the zebrano of the 6 cylinder cars."

The 420 has burl.

Thanks

Hey, I'll get you a quote on the compressor and the calipers. All of the door seals are in pretty nice shape.

I'll have to take a look at the neutral safety switch, don't know if its been replaced but I know it is in working order.

Thanks for the quote on the burl, my friend confirmed this car does indeed have burl wood.

Does it have ASR? How many miles on the car?

If so, how much for the axles?

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates. Been massively busy.

The brakes are spoken for, as well as the entire rear subframe assembly.

Wheels are factory 400E 15" 15 hole wheels.

No ASR. 160K Miles. Tranny was new not too long ago.

Sadly I don't know if the AC compressor was working or not.

I would like $175 for the headlights, wipers, wiper motors, and panels. One of the lenses is cracked. New lens is $80 Shipped.

I'm interested in:

1) driver seat armrest if it has a storage bin

2) driver side interior mirror interior trim piece (triangle) if the clips are intact and the material isn't coming off the backing

3) outside temp display module if working and displays in *C

Thanks,
Sixto

If Babymog passes on the headlights, wipers, wiper motors, and panels, I'll take them.

SixSpeed,
I just want to make sure I understand. Sometimes I am thick headed.

1.- Are the rear calipers still available?

2.- Passenger side front door seal

3.- AC compressor (assuming it does not work).

I am more interested in the clutch than the compressor. But I am willing to take the whole thing (if the price is right). Just give me a price assuming it does not work.
The clutch can easily be tested by measuring the resistance of the coil (pin 3to the body - no more than 4 Ohms). Or appling 12 volts and see it pull in, it should not draw more than 3.5 amps. I do not know if you want to go thru the trouble of testing and them taking the clutch from the compressor, that is why I am asking for the whole thing.

Please provide a quote for all parts (calipers, door seal, compressor) shipped to 27520.

Thanks
