Plastic
Are you asking about the plastic part that has 2 vacuum lines going to it and that has a linkage that comes up vertically from the accelerator linkage and has a couple allen bolts that hold it in place... closest piece to the oil filter housing. It is almost white when new but as it ages it becomes a creamy white... Jim

Yes that sounds just like the culprit I am looking for....also has a little 'cone' on the front the removes to access the rotating shaft.
Do you have one for sale perhaps? |

Vacuum control valve
I've got a couple that hold steady at 15. One is from a 1979 300SD with a part number on the arm: Pierburg Germany 6 170 700 146 and
PE 20514 9 162. The other is out of a 1984 300SD and marked with part number 123 070 0046. Most likely the second one will work for you. PM me if interested. Thanks. Dan |
