FS: W123 tow ball assy.
I just found a Mercedes fire extinguisher from a seller in the UK, and he also has this W123 tow assembly. I can't use it on my W124, but thought someone here might be interested... he'd like 30UKP for it, but shipping will be a bit spendy at 75UKP... so 105UKP (or about $155 I suppose) total.
Kind of a neat piece, if you ask me. If interested, shoot me a PM and I'll get you the seller's contact info.

I'll see if I can't get a MB part number from him so we can do some research on it. I almost don't want to find out that it'll work on multiple chassis -- then I'll be tempted to buy it for my W124.

"There is the number M4111-BE11/81 stamped into the body and 126584 17 21 Bestell-Nr 6550034878 on the lable."

Is it just the Hook or does ha have the mtg.s for under the car too. If just the hook then it's useless without the mtg.

Just the hook -- the car (and mountings) were totaled in a wreck. Hopefully someone can put it to use!
