722.120 Transmission (from a 80 300SD)
I still have a good working tranny from the 116 I parted last year. I parted the 1980 300SD because the floor was rusted through and I needed the motor (300D transplant) for my 84 300SD.
I don't know much about the history of the car other than the working odometer said low 200k miles on it when it was pulled and that the car had had a motor transplant from a 300D at some point. Based on the serial numbers on the transmission I am assuming it is original. I don't know if it was ever rebuilt or not. What I do know is that the tranny shifted exellent. In fact if the car didn't have a rusted through floor I would not have parted it and would still be driving it. The tranny shifted better than the one I have in my 84 300SD that has only 70,000 original miles on it. I'd like to get $200 + shipping costs if you don't pick it up in person. I have it sitting on a pallet and secured to the pallet. I'm willing to shrink wrap it and drop it off at a freight company. If I was ever planning on owning a 116 some day I'd keep it as a back up tranny but my next Benz will either be a CD or a diesel wagon. Thanks, Ryan

BUMP:
I'd really like to get rid of this transmission. I also have a new gasket and filter kit that will go with it. I am in the process of moving and would rather get rid of it than move it and put it in storage. It worked flawlessly when I pulled it.
