Wanted: '76 Glow Plug Relay

I believe that the glow plug relay for my 300D is not working. My glow plugs only work when the engine is being turned over and not in the proper pre-glow key position.

FYI: The previous owner upgraded to the pencil style glow plugs, but I still have the '76 relay.

If you have a working one or one that will work in my car and are looking to send it to a good home, I can trade for money.

I understood that the pencil plugs had a different voltage than the loop plugs.

Yeah you can't power the upgraded pencil plugs with the old style relay. You must install the old loop plugs, or wire up one of those new fast glow relays. I would just put in the old loop plugs.

The Bosch duraterm's specifically designed for the W115's?

Thanks for getting back to me. I have a relay in the works already.

Now I am working on getting a wiring harness for the new relay.
