i have seen the clear tail lights at www.hova.com its in german, so i ran it through the altavista translator. anyway, i saw the clear tail lights and they are nice!!!!!!, however, there isnt any price tag, so i emailed the people at hova and they said they can ship them to the states, but the shipping would be expenisive. anyone know where i can buy them for a 1990 300 e in the states??

Get them from Hova because even with the shipping you are probably still going to pay a hell of a lot less than if you were to find them, if ever, here. Do the math. The tailights of a W124 go for about $300+ here. I just ordered a set of new smoke/red tailights from "German&Swedish" in England and it came to $150 with the shipping.
What are they quoting you at Hova for shipping? Personally I thing the clear lights remind me of the Hondas that roam around my neighbourhood, yuck! yal 88(W124) |

Skioff,
No web address but there is an overseas phone number. 00 44 181 917 3895 They also have the completely smoked rear lights. Talk to them and see what they quote you for shipping. yal |

Check with Bekkers Import Corporation in Albany, GA (800) 624-5410. Web site address: www.bekkers.com. They offer items for Mercedes and BMW. I know they offer the smoke black, smoke gray/red, and all red taillight assembly from Hella for the 300E at $189 each. Good luck!

Bekkers is a great company I have heard, but expensive... I have seen these tail lights at Nopi.com for far less than bekkers, around $180 but I am not sure of the quality.
By the way do you know if this company in England or any place in the states carries used body side moldings for 300E 90-93? thanks and good luck ------------------ '86 300E '87 300SDL '92 190E 2.6 |

I am considering buying aftermarket tailights for my 89 300E from Hova in Germany also. Does anyone know if these are a straight swap? Are any wiring modifications necessary?
