I am looking for a euro M110 engine to put in my 1985 280SEL. Right now it has a M110.987 or 988 but any 185hp version will do. Fuel injection only please, no carburetor.

Can't help with a complete running engine but if you can start with your block and crank I've got this:

"Possibly not of interest to most in this particular discussion, but I have all the relevant pieces and parts from an 156,000 1984 280SE Euro M110.989 engine for sale, pistons and rods, complete cylinder head , distributor/ignition, FI system, intake & exhaust manifolds. If someone wanted to build a 185 HP Euro engine out of a US M110 lower end they had, this would be the trick. The whole collection of parts can be had for $500 plus shipping if someone is interested.

This car was an original factory set up with a 5 speed GETRAG and ran like a raped ape! The transmission system was sold and I kept the engine for a couple months as someone had expressed interest in it. When that fell through I didn’t has the place to keep another engine so I stripped the important parts off this one and they’ve been in storage ever since.

GE engine pan will need to be changed

Hi,
I have for sale a M110 engine of a \'84 280 GE. Running condition, regular oil changes and tune ups. The engine comes equiped with:
-Intake and exhaust manifolds;
-Fuel distributor and injectors;
-Distributor, sp. plug wires, cap & rotor;
-Water pump, fan clutch and fan;
-AC compresor, PS pump;
and everything else still attached to the engine.
