I may be acquiring a 2.3 190e (1988 I believe) and will most likely part it out. Car had been running great and suffered a sudden transmission failure. Trans dipstick is dry, so I will check to see if it's something as simple as a leak at hoses (etc...) before parting, but I really just want the wheels and tires off the car. Any interest in parts? Cheap, cheap, cheap... not sure how much testing I'll be able to do, but I'll price things out accordingly. Just looking to make a few bucks back before I sent the carcass to the crusher (as the floors are a bit rusty). Car is here in east central IL. I'd part with the whole thing (minus wheels/tires and stereo) for $200, or $250 with my old wheels and tires to transport it on. Weather permitting, I may have it here within a couple of weeks. How much for the heater blower and both headlight assemblies? No local pick n pulls have them.

I'll need to check those parts once I get the car; someone has expressed interest in one headlight assembly already, and I told them $20 would be fine if it's intact and acceptable. If the blower motor is working OK, maybe $30 (?), assuming I can get it out easily enough. Thanks!

CSCMC1, I am in Alton, IL. My son and I are building a 1987 190E. Do you still have this car? How much for the engine?

In fact, I have yet to pick the car up! If it runs well, you can have the motor for $175, or the whole car for $250. They said they would include the snow tires and rims I sold the car with, and if they are still decent, they'd help you out in the wintertime. The rest of the car would just be a bunch of bonus parts.
