W123 300TD Wagon Cargo Cover

Black cargo cover in VG shape. Has the "dog" net which affixes to ceiling and four mounting tabs which fit into the headliner (two behind rear seats, two behind front seats for when back seats are folded down). Also has mounting hardware to attach to back of rear bench seat(s). The only part it doesn't come with is the latches which insert into the hatch- 5 minutes at a hardware store and I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Was going to put this in my green wagon, but time doesn't seem to be in my side here. I also fit lots of furniture back there, so the cargo cover doesn't really make sense in my case.

That said, it's a cool rare factory item that will spiffy up any W123 wagon.
I think 150$ is fair- I paid more, but would like someone here to have it. Have some rudimentary install pictures from the car they came out of.

Definitely a fair price. I'd jump on it but I'm in the same boat as you and wouldn't really use it.

I'd like to see a pic if you wouldn't mind. I've never seen a cargo cover/net in black.

I'd jump on it for $150, but its the wrong color.

Benzoid123 should get this...he has dogs and a wagon with black interior.

There is a tan / palamino one on CraigsList but I have forgotten which city. Also listed for $150. If anyone wants me to do the national search for it let me know and I'll find it... I also have 4 of the metal things that mount in the ceiling of the car that are related to the cargo cover. I didn't know what they were when I saw them at the junkyard so I got them. Now that I know what they are, I know that they are of little use to me.

I bought it figuring there may be around 2 total green cargo covers in existence, and I could die trying to find one. So I got black. Well... a year later, it's still not in there.

I'll see if I can dig up a pic or two, or take a few snapshots.
I've seen a few palamino ones, and only one blue. This was the first black one I've ever seen in person.

I saw someone on another forum say that it took him 9 years to find a blue one.

I am at 2 years, so I figure I have a while to go

Do you still have the net? If so, can you send me photos?
Thanks Gregg

I got one today!!!

I got lucky today and found a complete palomino (or whatever the color is) double blind with all the hardware today. I need to make or order the clips that secure it to the panel door but I'm pretty happy. I hope to make a stack of money on it since it is not compatible with third row seating.

My '84 W123 Euro wagon has a third row seat and a cargo cover. All were included when delivered from the factory.

My wagon has both the cargo cover and third seat option. It's sort of a pain if using both. I can see why my cover disappeared. It took two years including several months of really intensive seaching to find an ok palamino one. I was so close to paying a fortune to have one shipped from Germany when I came across one in the US.
