I have two '86-'87 300D 300TD diesel clusters that I have rebuilt.

How do I rebuild them you ask?

Well I take a cluster from a '93-'95 E320 and combine if with the original diesel cluster.

The '93-'95 E320 has the same 2.65 rear end ratio.

I use the later E320 case, the E320 odometer, the E320 "screen".

The speedometer face, the other dials (fuel gauge, clock, rev counter etc) are from the '86-'87 cars.

The lower "display strip" is from the diesel.

The later clusters have no burnt out turn signals or melted palstic.

The look just like the diesel ones but have none of the issues.
