OM603 Cylinder Head / 300D, 300TD, & 300DSDL

I'm moving, time to start selling some of my spares that I don't really need.

OM603.96x Cylinder Head
#14 casting
162,000 miles
$450.00 / offer
Cylinders showed proper carbon, no steam-cleaned valves.
I took it to my local guy, had it cleaned for a good visual, vac/pressure tested, flatness (warp) checked, all good.
Cam bearing surfaces are visually flawless also.
Includes the pre-chambers, a temp sensor, and all cam bearing caps. Has all but two cam-bearing cap bolts, I misplaced two somehow. If it's a deal-breaker, I can probably get two.

I'll post photos, just decided to sell some things at noon today, didn't bring the head to work.

I'll likely be selling the cam, a 603.96x IP, and a 603.96x turbo but I need to pick the parts up at my old shop, will list them then (probably a week or two away).

I think my PM box is getting full, feel free to email me jamiller at iserv dot net

... or offer.

Still cheaper by far than a new #22 plus the parts to make it fit, just an option for someone.

For someone who doesn't have $1000+ for a used updated cylinder head or $2000+ for a new one and needs to replace a problematic 603 cylinder head, $450 is very reasonable for a confirmed servicable unit. That's not to say it's the best investment but not everyone wants a long term pay out, some people just need or want their engine back working the way it was and a good #14 cylinder head for $450 is a great deal. If I didn't have a couple already I'd make an offer and then grease it, wrap it up, and throw it on the shelf, it's not like you've got to feed it!
