So here is the deal. I used to drive an 84 190D that was a rust bucket, I then found a 91 190E that was not but had a popped engine. I bought all the parts to do a 5 spd swap and was going to put my 2.2 diesel into the gas car.

Since then I have list the title, the motivation, and the time . Mostly the title being a problem.

I am trying to decide what I should do at this point. I can sell everything as one package deal if someone was interested. Or I can sell off the parts. Depending on the reactions I get I will decide. Parting them and scrapping them will probably get me closet to what I want out of them.

Here's what I have
84 190D, 237K miles, auto (trans was starting to slip). car is fairly rusty
91 190E, 178K miles, auto, car is very not rusty, but there is some paint fade.
5 spd swap parts, unless I am missing something it should be everything to do a 5 spd swap. Trans, pedals, flywheel, shifter, cable, etc.

84 has a title, 91 does not. I had the title to the 91 and before I put it in my name I lost it.

The 190D with minimal work should be able to start and run again so you can hear the engine, I took out the radiator and a few misc items preparing for the swap and never finished.

I would be thrilled if I could get $1700 for everything. I don't know how you would go about getting a title for the 91 if you wanted to finish the swap. I tried emailing the guy I got it from and have not heard back, not to mention that was 2 years ago.

With the price of scrap, I could get roughly $200-250 for each car, $150ish for the cat's on them, $100 for the aluminum wheels, and still have the 2.2 and 5 spd stuff.

With that said, don't offer me $700 for everything, However, if you wanted the 5 spd stuff, and/or the 2.2 stuff, feel free to make a realistic offer.

Just wanted to let you guys know, if someone were interested in the short block, I have someone interested in the head, camshaft and injection pump.

I don't want to part the engine out unless I can find someone that wants the bottom end, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get rid of it if I did sell the head and stuff.

I'm a PFF guy too.

Need any fiero body panels or something. I'd be down for a trade on the manual stuff if you need anything. I parted out a whole '84 down to a bare frame, but I have sold some stuff.

Also parting a Mk2 Jetta if you needed VW stuff.

AFAIK we live nearby on another.

Which 5 speed (i.e. what car did it come out of)?

The ones in the 300E, 190Ds, 190Es, etc. all had different ratios, so it matters.
