kerry you are right.tell us some of the things you are doing to make things better.

In a post on 11/1/01 Donkey tells Mr. Bauers that the bumper he will sell "is in really good condition & looks nice". On 1/5/02 Donkey blaims this continuing post on Mr. Bauers' "over-pickyness". The bumper had a rust hole in it among other defects, yet this was not disclosed by Donkey. I think most of us would be accused of "over-pickyness" if Donkey sent a bumper of this quality to us after misrepresenting it.
Is there a provision in the MercedesShop guidelines to remove members that have an attitude and conduct business like Donkey? I think such an action would be warranted before the next MercedesShop member gets stung by him.

In order to avoid this dishonest seller, don't send a check to anyone selling MB parts with an address in Hudson, WI or Edina, MN.

I hope this gets resolved VERY soon, otherwise I believe legal action should be taken. Perhaps Donkey got in over his head, but he's had a long time to redeem himself and I don't see any logical arguement to why Mr. Bauers has not recv'd his refund -- just excuses.

Thanks to all for your support, and to Muskie for the tip about the escrow account idea.

The latest is that NO CHECK has arrived from Donkey, the man who says he's worried about his wonderful reputation being injured by this thread. It has now been ONE MONTH and ONE DAY since he received his bumper back from me.

As I noted before, if he actually honors his word and sends the check, I will post that information here the day I receive it; I will also post it here when (or if) that check clears.
