For sale is the engine and transmission from my 1981 300SD diesel. The engine is a OM617.951 (125 hp/180 lb-ft) inline 5 cylinder turbocharged motor. It runs perfectly. I have many receipts for it. The turbo was rebuilt a few years ago. I am selling it b/c the car was rear ended and I am parting the car out.

Engine is currently still in the car and is located in Chino Hills, CA

What is the asking price?

At this point I'll let it go for any reasonable offer. I just need to get rid of the car. It's been parked in my driveway for too long. I was thinking a few hundred bucks for the engine

Yes, it is still available.

The Lovecraft conversion has been on the car since I bought the vehicle (about 1.5 yrs), however, I never ran veggie with the car, just biodiesel.

If you can take the whole vehicle that would be best. Are you looking for all the parts from the engine (ie-turbo, a/c, injection pump, etc) or just the engine itself?

Also, do you want the transmission too?
