I have for sale one used w120, OM636 engine with matching transmission. I believe this is from a 180D which was made from 1953-1958 . Yesterday, I cleaned the beast off, removed the old fuel filter, put fresh diesel in it. I have not tested the glow plugs, but applying ground to the block and 12volts to the #4 glow plug supply wire completes the electrical circuit. What's left of the original gauge panel is included with the engine & transmission. The oil gauge was still connected to the engine oil pressure sender until I broke the rubber hose yesterday. I plan on changing the oil prior to attempting to start. I also sucked out as much old oil as possible from the injection pump and added fresh.

I have the front grill and radiator, too; however, those are NOT for sale in this thread. The front grill is under negoitations. The radiator is going to the radiator shop today.

Here is what I know or have been told:

Engine and transmission were pulled from a running rustbucket in southwest Indiana.
The crank turns.
The water pump turns.
Came with two belts but they are way past their life.
Fan has one broken fan blade.
Injection pump works.
Motor data plate is on the engine; however I could NOT get a shot of it with my cell phone.

Asking $900 as is.

I have several trips planned, so delivery is possible. I will be happy to strap tightly to palet and wrap with plastic for shipping. In addition, I will load into your pickup, trailer, or onto your shipper's vehicle.

I've already got some bids; no reserve. It will sell. I also put the radiator and grill on ebay; no reserve.

Strelnik --- I'm going to be up in your neck of the woods this summer. I'd be happy to deliver it to you along with anything else that you might buy. I've got to clean some stuff out of my garage and storage.

Thanks for the offer, but i have just gotten too much stuff and I'm getting rid of it to make room for cars and construction.

A guy just paid me to remove 4 x 636 diesels from his facility, plus some extra 616 and 621 engines, so my problem is the opposite. Plus I just got a running 180D vehicle ready for paint (priming completed) for 400.00. And I just got the grille for it. Now I just need time for painting and assembling the chrome.

And another guy shipped me 13 top chest /tool boxes: Snap-on NAPA and Kennedy, plus a Stack-On. Plus ultrasonic cleaners for injection pumps and such.

I have a 4 x 10 table PILED with extra Snap-On tools that are going up for sale at a private collectors sale Sunday. Then I should have more room.

You guys are all too far away and there are only a couple sets of Snap-On metric, this stuff is mostly for antiques and trucks, like 2" Snap-On sockets etc.

Plus several 6' torque wrenches to 750 lbs ft.

I have another load of tools coming soon, am buying them through connections by the pound.

Yeah, I hear you. It's a good thing I don't have a building as big as yours. I'm sure I would have a few extra projects already. My diesel interest seem to be branching out away from MBs.

During my next visit in that direction, I would like to visit your new building.

That is the "side access" plate if I recall correctly. I'm sure Darryl can chime in here and correct me. Take it off and you can look right into the block.
