transmission

You need a 722.315. I just bought one at Michaels Auto Recyclers here in Orlando, Florida for 450.00 with a 6 month warranty. It came complete with torque converter. They dont have any more, but I might know where another exists, I'll keep you posted. Dave

Hello Yuddy,
You might want to hook up with jwt.diesel@aol.com. or 610-351-2806. He's got a post now selling his '83 300D (needs eng work) for 750.00 He is in allentown. Might have a good tranny, plus parts. Not hard to change roughly 6 hours. Dave, Good Luck

try rstocks3@stny.rr.com (he's in western NY). Tell him Charlie Hart gave you his name.

He HAD one on Sunday for 400$. I was talking to him about something else and noticed an auction he had on ebay that included this tranny. He didn't sell the tranny at that time.

I haven't a clue what kind of warrentee it comes with.

That's a lot of shipping. Did you visit a small package store ? The base UPS rate is 50-60$ depending on how much of the country you have to cross. A staples store actually gives you a discount on that rate. Package stores are nice, but for heavy things, they put a 100% surcharge on the rate.
