Apparently mine seems to have a 300e speedo in it.

I have an E320 124 speedo, same diff ratio (2.65:1) and should swap right in, difference being the shift-point dots are higher in the E320 unit. 133,000 miles IIRC. If you're interested I can take some photos of it.
