WTB - '94-'95 W124 frt bumper license plate BLANK cover
Where a plate goes. I need the blank filler that covers that area on the bumper. Thanks for replies...

The as "cast/molded color is gray. People then have them painted. 35-45 buys you the fang tooth one. I paid $100 for mine a few months ago. You cant get them anymore so its one of those things where you have to pay to play. I dont think you will find one for anywhere near the price that you were hoping for. Im looking for a roof rack for my 300ce. Same type of thing. Hard to very hard to find so if one comes up im ready to pay 250 bucks to get it.

These are very hard to find. $30 will get you laughed out of the house. Usually it's a special ordered euro part. Expect to pay $75-100 minimum. Also, anything 86-95 will fit.

One thing 'life' and more birthdays teach one is - patience! If I reach the point of just simply having to have one, then I'll pay a larger sum - right now, I'll hold off and wait until timing is more in my favor! Thanks for your input.

Are you sure that they're not available? I bought one recently for my '95, might be a different part number for the '94/'95 smooth one.
Also, seems that there is a coupe roof rack for sale on benzworld.

Sure, you can get it at the dealer. It was $100+ last time I looked into it, but then I figured out Colorado requires a front plate. All the damned red light/speed/toll cameras no doubt.
I didn't know the Coupe had a specific roof rack? Roof dimensions are different? It's physically being mounted in the same space on both cars.

I havent found the posting yet on benzworld. Is it hidden in some giant for sale post? The coupes actually have little screw in mounts that are imbedded into the roof that secure the roof rack.

I too live in a 'front license plate' state (OH) but constantly see Corvettes, Caddys, Sky's, Beemers, and on and on, WITHOUT a front plate. My car came with the blank when I purchased it nearly 3 years ago and never had a problem until recently. Not until I removed the (broken, cracked) blank and put the 'fang tooth' plate holder on temporarily until I got my entire bumper cover replaced! My wife was stopped and warned about the plate. I've written to a couples of my state representatives a few weeks ago but NO RESPONSE thus far. Sounds like a politician, yes?

I'm starting to think I saw it here, possibly in technical or other. Seemed odd to me at the time because someone on the same forum as the posting that it was for sale was posting a WTB for one. I've searched the FS here back a couple of weeks, wouldn't be in diesel since there was no diesel coupe in the US.
