you are right what I can use is Fitting on bottom of filter
and wraparound sheet metal nuts and bolts .I am trying to make some thing work as org. was tossed by po and replaced by a small inline filter
that starves engine for fuel.I think that is the same one on the 450sl
1973-77.

I sold the axle. I wish I had a few more. It seems to be the most asked for part. I sold the dash pad also. I still have the lights and interior + alot more. I sold some things I never thought would sell. All parts prices are reasonable. Anyone picking up large items gets a better deal and possibly some free stuff.
