Anyone have a working /8 300D fuel sender they would like to sell? Mine disintegrated.

Finally got my /8 back in the garage. Still looking for a fuel sender with 5 8mm nuts holding it, about 6" in length or 150mm or so.

I have a fuel tank that I just pulled from a rusty 75 300D before I took it to the crusher. I can check the sending unit in the AM to see if it is any good. Your 74 240D should have the smaller 65L fuel tank so it should take the shorter sending unit 110 542 12 04 up to VIN 115.117 12 102758. They went to a 78L tank with longer sender after that VIN.

That's perfect if it works. My car has a 300D fuel tank since I had a rusty 300D to donate parts from and a fuel tank swap was one of the carryovers. Let me know. Thanks.

Here are pictures of the sending unit. It is in working order, all cleaned and tested.
